There is no setting to switch this off. You will need to edit the file:
/components/com_contact/contact.html.php
Find line 350 which says "HTML_contact::_writeVcard( $contact, $params );"
Just put the comment characters (//) in front and it should not show anymore.
If you want to edit the file directly in mambo, search for "mamboXplorer" in this site.
