MamboXplorer installs very smoothly. It works right out of the box, no configuration needed. The un-install is also clean. This component does not change or use any database.
The interface is extremely neat and user-friendly. It beats the hell out of other standalone web files management systems such as Comet Web File Manager or Invision Power File Manager.
There is one minor limitation. It does not allow you to see or modify files outside of the Mambo directory. But given the fact that mambo is usually the root directory for your website, this really isn't much of a limitation.
In summary, I think this component is close to 10/10. It is a must have any mambo installation.
